DrugPlus Basic

Overview

The DrugPlus Basic plan provides coverage for generic drugs and dispensing fees, as well as vision, health care, travel, accidental death and dismemberment, and survivor benefits. There are a number of add-on benefits so that you can customize your policy to meet your needs.

Standard Benefits

Drug Coverage
Coverage includes generic drugs (name brands are allowed, but coverage is paid for the generic equivalent) and reasonable and customary dispensing fees. The following table lists the coverage amounts:

Exclusions
The DrugPlus Basic plan excludes smoking cessation drugs, over-the-counter drugs, fertility drugs, birth control drugs, and drugs not requiring a prescription.
